The IndyBar Foundation, along with co-hosts the Indianapolis Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Indiana, Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, Indiana Bar Foundation, Marion County Bar Association, and the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, is calling on all attorneys and judges in the state to gather in celebration of Law Day on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at noon. The celebration will be held on the plaza of the Birch Bayh Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, and will be highlighted by a reaffirmation of the Oath of Attorneys administered by the Hon. Sarah Evans Barker of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana. Justice Christopher Goff will also join the celebration on behalf of the Indiana Supreme Court.

Law Day was first celebrated nationally in 1958 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. This event will be livestreamed on IndyBar's Facebook Account via Facebook Live should someone be unable to attend in person.
